If you know Jaclyn Hill, you know about her batch of hairy lipstick that went out to LOTS of fans last month!
What’s up guys I’m Emile Ennis Jr. with Clevver News and now Jaclyn is trying to make amends after her failed first attempt at a makeup line.
Jaclyn first spoke out about the poor quality of her makeup on Youtube. She later deleted the video and is now saying that watching it makes her cringe.
She came on Instagram this past weekend to post a 26-part video.
If you didn’t want to watch this non-youtube-youtube-video, don’t worry, because I did.
Basically, Jaclyn owns up to her mistakes and says that everybody who purchased her lipstick, whether they were dissatisfied or not, will be getting a full refund with tax and shipping costs included.
She also says she doesn’t want to be known as the girl who makes crappy products, and she has spent over 100,000 dollars on fixing her mistakes.
BUT Because the internet always takes it one step further, they found a video that was made a few weeks before this hairy make up drama. I’ll let you take a look at it for yourself.
So hairy truthers are now claiming that Jaclyn knew about the issues all along and chose not to look into it further before manufacturers sent her product out to customers.
Some people are even saying that the hairs in her lipstick are GROWING
Jaclyn hasn’t yet said anything about THESE claims, but I’m going to give her the benefit of the doubt here. I don’t think she would send her first line out and put her reputation on the line had she known people weren’t going to like them
But from the sound of that 26-part Instagram story, she has a lot more stuff that she’ll be coming out with in the near future.
So we’ll see what’s to come in the next lines of Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics. Maybe her blush will have fingernails! Or her eyeshadow pallet will also have its own taste pallet. I can’t wait to see!
