2026 Rolls-Royce Spectre Expert Review

The Rolls-Royce Spectre is the brand’s first fully electric production car, introduced for the 2024 model year. It combines Rolls-Royce’s traditional luxury, craftsmanship, and quiet ride with a modern dual-motor electric powertrain. The Black Badge performance version was added for 2025, while no major changes are expected for 2026.

The standard Spectre produces 577 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds. It is powered by a 102-kWh battery, offering an EPA-estimated range of up to 277 miles with 22-inch wheels. In real-world testing, it achieved around 275 miles of driving range. DC fast charging from 5% to 80% takes about 36 minutes.

The Spectre delivers an exceptionally smooth, quiet, and luxurious driving experience. Its instant electric torque makes it feel even more refined than previous V12-powered Rolls-Royce models. However, its charging speed is average compared with some modern EVs, making it less suitable for frequent long-distance travel.

Inside, the Spectre features a four-seat cabin with premium materials, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, digital instrument display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging, and a high-end Bespoke audio system. Standard equipment also includes heated seats, power-closing doors, 22-inch wheels, and the signature Starlight Headliner.

Safety features include automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control. Optional technology includes a head-up display and a 360-degree camera.

The Black Badge version increases output to 659 horsepower and 792 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever built. It also features sharper suspension tuning, revised steering, dark exterior accents, and exclusive wheels.

For most buyers, the standard Spectre is considered the better choice, as it already provides excellent performance and comfort without the firmer, sport-focused character of the Black Badge.

Pricing for the 2026 model starts at $397,750 for the Spectre Coupe and $467,750 for the Spectre Black Badge Coupe.
