2027 Rolls-Royce Phantom

Read our expert 2027 Rolls-Royce Phantom review covering performance, pricing, features, specs, fuel economy, warranty details, and photos of this ultra-luxury full-size sedan.

Price: From $552,600

The 2027 Rolls-Royce Phantom is an ultra-luxury full-size sedan that sits right at the top of its segment. In theory, the Bentley Flying Spur, Cadillac Celestiq, and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class are rivals, but the Phantom costs over half a million dollars – hundreds of thousands more than its rivals. It’s the last word in status, comfort, luxury, and presence in this segment.

Rolls-Royce’s Flagbearer camera-assisted adaptive air suspension ensures a cloud-like ride, and the whisper-smooth 6.7-liter twin-turbo V12 puts out its 563 hp and stump-pulling torque almost as discreetly as an electric motor. In addition, you can customize the car to your heart’s content via Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke program, making your vehicle unique and potentially adding another $100K to its price.

What’s New for 2027

The 2027 Phantom is essentially unchanged, but Rolls-Royce continues to produce special bespoke models. One is the Phantom Arabesque that explores Middle Eastern architectural heritage through its unique laser-engraved hood (below left), and another is the one-off Phantom Regatta (below right), which is a tribute to the English South Coast’s blue waters and pays tribute to racing yachts and the regattas they took part in.

Exterior

The word “gravitas” was invented for the Phantom. The hugely imposing car stands tall, fronted by a large Pantheon grille with polished vanes and a retractable Spirit of Ecstasy on top. It’s a large car at over 18 feet long, with the Phantom Extended adding another 8.6 inches. LED exterior lighting and coach doors are standard, and the wheels measure 22 inches.

The upright design cares little for fashion trends or aerodynamics, and is responsible for the Phantom being recognizable as a Rolls-Royce from miles away. Customization extends to the exterior, and you can select from countless paint colors, bespoke trim details, hand-painted coachlines, and more.

Interior

The Phantom’s cabin is constructed from the finest natural woods and leathers, with polished metal in between and no plastic in sight. The dashboard Gallery allows owners to commission decorative installations or even bespoke artwork behind a glass panel. Even the regular model provides 43.5 inches of rear legroom, but this swells to a limo-like 53.1 inches in the Extended trim.

Heated, ventilated, and massaging power front seats, multi-zone climate control, soft-close doors, 18-speaker audio, and a 10.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto are standard. The system is operated via a rotary controller on the center console. The Phantom is all about life in the rear seat, which offers options like a fridge, massaging power seats, remote infotainment controls, and more.
