US Vice President Kamala Harris has paid tribute to all passengers and crew members on board Flight 93 who died when the flight crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Speaking at a 9/11 memorial event alongside former President George W. Bush, she said: “We are gathered on hallowed ground at this place that has been sanctified by sacrifice.
“What happened on Flight 93 told us then and still tells us so much about the courage of those on board, who gave everything they possibly could.
“On this 20th anniversary of this solemn day of remembrance we must challenge ourselves to look back and remember for the sake of our children.”
All passengers and crew members on board Flight 93 from Newark, New Jersey, died when the flight crashed in Shanksville.
