The rhetoric over the ending of restrictions on 19 July is being toned down amid fears of a surge in COVID cases.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson said social distancing rules and limits on social contact will end across the country.
But he urged caution amid fears infections could hit 100,000 a day during the summer.
