The Prime Minister has set out the Government’s plans to tackle the COVID pandemic this winter.
The main focus is a continued effort to get the whole country vaccinated and to give booster vaccines for those over 50.
But there was an underlying tone of caution as the Government also outlined a Plan B which could be implemented to stop the NHS from being overwhelmed, which includes the possibility of vaccine passports and a return to masks and working from home.
