UN meeting: Are we at a turning point ahead of COP26?

Joe Biden has pledged to double the money the US gives to help developing nations respond to climate change, and China has vowed to stop funding new coal-fire projects abroad. Is this a turning point ahead of COP26?

Founder and director of climate think tank E3G, Tom Burke says it’s “too early” to say whether China’s announcement on coal is a “breakthrough” and climate justice activist Mikaela Loach is hesitant on whether climate justice can be achieved at COP.
