Uniquely, each category has two winners: one chosen by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, and another by public vote — the People’s Voice Award. A hallmark of the show? Winners give acceptance speeches in just five words. This year’s honorees include icons like Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Simone Biles, and Snoop Dogg, who was named Webby Entrepreneur of the Year for his innovation and cultural impact. Major brands like Nike, Netflix, Apple, and Google — which won Brand of the Year — also took top honors.
Beyond the big names, the Webbys also celebrated trailblazing creators and changemakers. Astronaut Kellie Gerardi was recognized for Best Community Engagement, sharing her personal journey as a scientist, mom, and IVF advocate. Chris Duffy’s How To Be A Better Human won for Best Advice & How-To podcast, and Dr. Fei-Fei Li received the Webby Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to AI and equity in tech.
