Travis Scott Is Not FEUDING With Cardi B After Her Grammy Win!

Think what you may after tuning into Travis Scott’s new documentary, but there is absolutely no bad blood between he and Cardi B… like, for real, for real.

What’s up guys, happy Tuesday, it’s Sussan Mourad back here on Clevver News, also struggling after a long, much needed holiday weekend, and if you’re like me, you likely spent one of your precious vacation days doing nothing. And by nothing, I mean tuning into the newest batch of Netflix features AKA Travis Scott’s “Look Mom I Can Fly” documentary.

TBH, I’ll take any opportunity to see Stormi Webster in all her one-year-old glory, but the documentary also showed a much more vulnerable side of Travis Scott, particularly during this year’s Grammy Awards when he was beat out by Cardi B for Best Rap Album.

The documentary takes fans backstage during the 2019 Grammy Awards as Travis was nominated for three awards including Best Rap Album, where he waited backstage with baby momma Kylie Jenner as camera crews were prepared to document his reaction upon his name being called… or so we all thought.

Once Cardi’s name was called, Travis was visibly upset and stormed away, which led many fans who already tuned in, to believe that he was angry at Cardi B.

However, sources close to Travis revealed to TMZ that it was absolutely NOTHING personal, and that his emotions only surfaced because of all the hard work he put into his “Astroworld” album… I mean, come on, it’s the Grammys… I’d prob flip tables if I lost and it was being documented on camera.

But what really matters is that Travis and Cardi have always been buds, so really, try as you might to dig up somethin’ juicy regarding beef between these two, but you won’t find it. Cardi’s hubby Offset even showed his support the night of the Netflix premiere by making an appearance at the event for the documentary.

Buuuuut as we all know, there will be some haters who live for stirring the pot. This forced Cardi to defend herself against a few Travis fans on Twitter, saying, “I wasn’t even thinking of winning or even the Grammys. All I can think about was… ‘Everybody is disappointed in me, am I still going to have a career after this baby? Is this album going to make me or break me? I need to finish before I start showing.’”

She went on to say, “So when I won a Grammy for it, I didn’t have no words to say but when I went home I started reminiscing on what I went thru during that period. I was like, ‘YEA BITCH YOU DESERVE THIS SHIT!’ And until this day my shit still charting.”

Travis eventually got over the loss, in large part to Houston, Texas mayor Sylvester Turner, who gave him the pep talk of the century, and if you tuned in, you’d probably have low key also teared up a little because of it. And if you don’t know, now you do know that Travis’ next album is about to go OFF. Like, think about the amount of times you replayed “Sicko Mode” and times that by like, 12.

Anyway, I gotta hear all your thoughts on Travis’ documentary, and if you haven’t yet watched it, wellllll, you’ve now got some homework friends… thankfully it’s still syllabus week at school so don’t “I don’t have time” me.
