Earlier this week we reported on Millie Bobby Brown’s somewhat fake skincare routine and how fans were calling her out for it… but now Millie is speaking out and apologizing.
What’s up? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and in case you missed it, Millie Bobby Brown recently launched her very own beauty brand called Florence by Mills.

It was the line’s first-ever drop and I we have to give Millie credit. She really did check every single beauty box.
There’s an inclusive 20-shade range of foundations and concealers, luxurious skincare products, no harsh chemicals, and all at an affordable price point.
These are all things we can get behind, but to promote her new line, Millie shared a video of her nighttime skincare regimen.
This is where things got a little dicey.
The routine included several of her line’s products like the face mist, scrub, cleanser, moisturizer, and lip oil.
But Millie received some backlash when fans pointed out that her eye makeup stays on throughout the clip.
So the internet had a lot to say about this “tutorial,” and before I share any of these quotes, let me just say that let’s not forget that Millie is only 15 years old, still learning and doing her best. I adore Millie and hate that she had to go through this. But OK, moving on.
But now Millie has actually responded to the backlash.
She decided to issue an apology about the video on her Instagram and wrote quote, “I’m still learning the best way to share my routines as I get to know this space better—I’m not an expert.”
Millie continued on to explain that she thought she was doing the right thing but landed flat.
And to me, it sounds like Millie is really sorry and is doing her best to learn as she goes.
Like I said, we have to remember she is only 15 years old!
And her fans on Twitter agree
Which is true.
But we all know that Millie isn’t the only celebs to get some heat for a misleading skin tutorial.
Kylie Jenner was also accused of not knowing how to wash her face after sharing a similar kind of tutorial for her Kylie Skin line.
In the video Kylie is seen using her foaming face wash to take off her makeup, however, she does not actually apply the face wash all over her face before quickly washing it away with water.
And when she dried her face with a white towel, fans picked up that her foundation residue was still there despite the claim that the wash removes makeup, dirt, and oil.
Not to mention that Kylie used a filter, so we can’t even really tell what how the product actually made her skin look.
The comments on this video are pretty similar to the ones on Millie’s
Kylie and Millie are both young so I’m not out here to blame them. Just reporting on what went down online.
I probably would look like an idiot if I tried to film myself washing my face too. Trust me, it would be a mess!
