Lawyers in the Harvey Weinstein trial responded Wednesday to the court’s sentencing decision following Weinstein’s sexual assault and rape conviction. Lead defense attorney Donna Rotunno called the 23-year sentence “obscene” and blamed pressures from the media and public. Gloria Allred, who represented some of Weinstein’s accusers, held up a sign that read: “This is what justice looks like 20 + 3 years.”
