Back in the day, security cameras were only for the rich and involved bulky and expensive equipment with all sorts of wires and videotape. Today, however, anyone can cheaply install a doorbell camera in a matter of minutes. It’s a simple install, relatively cheap, and you can watch your feed on your smart device from anywhere in the world.
Doorbell cams have caught some seriously absurd things in the last few years ever since they began to catch on. Back in the good old days, you could just live in the ‘ignorance equals bliss’ fantasy world of assuming that people aren’t doing absolutely crazy things at your doorstep – but not today my friends. We live in a brave new world of home surveillance.
