We’ve all been there. Minding our own business, casually listening to “Monster” by Kanye West, when suddenly Adele bursts through the walls like she’s the Kool Aid man and starts rapping during family dinner!!
Hey guys it’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and, yes, she’s done it again. Adele took over the mic at a party in Los Angeles to give her rendition of Nicki Minaj’s verse in Kanye West’s song “Monster”.
Partygoers were PUMPED to see the newly-single singer use her powerful vocals to sing something a little different than what they’re used to hearing from her.
But if you’re an Adele fan like me, you know this isn’t the first time she’s belted out this verse
We first heard it when she was a guest on James Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke” way back in 2016.
At the time, Adele was promoting her new album “25”, but now she’s just doing it for fun… and she’s single… so it’s definitely good she’s getting out of the house and living life!
It’s no secret that Nicki’s verse is the most iconic verse from that song, so of course it’s the one that Adele is going to choose to sing whenever she gets the chance.
I for one would love to see a rap battle between the two of them. Do I think Adele has a chance in hell? Ummm maybe… actually, probably not. But I still think it would be a lot of fun.
After Adele said all she had to say, she joined the rest of the party dancing to Beyonce’s “Formation”.
So I wanna hear from you what you think Adele’s rap name will be. Do you think she has a future career as a rapper? LBH, probably not. And we’re happy about that, keep doing you boo.
