A volunteer helping to resettle Afghan refugees in Scotland is facing calls to be deported for being a vocal Taliban supporter.
Waheed Totakhyl, who says his brother is a Military Commander for the Taliban in East Kabul, has told Sky News that since the Taliban captured Afghanistan, the country is “safer than Europe”.
Newly-arrived refugees in Glasgow, including one interpreter who worked for the British Army in Afghanistan, have called for the government to deport him.
