Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Conservative MP Tom Tugendhat says ‘this is what defeat looks like’ and described the situation as ‘awful and absolutely tragic’.
He went on to say that ‘there is a possibility we may find ourselves with the biggest hostage crisis the UK has ever seen.’
