Al Gore on COP26: 'The Queen is right to be irritated'

Al Gore, former US Vice President and long-time environmentalist, has told Sky News that he sympathises with the Queen’s comments on being “irritated” by those who “talk but don’t do”.

The UK will host COP26 in Glasgow from 31 October, where world leaders from around the globe will meet to discuss actions to tackle climate change.

Mr Gore added that the UK’s pledge to slash emissions by 68% by 2030 is “impressive” but it would take “follow through” to make the nation a climate leader.
