Could Demi Lovato have a new man in her life? Romance rumors are running rampant after the singer was spotted leaving an LA club with Machine Gun Kelly.
What’s up y’all, I’m Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and we have all the details of this possible new love connection!
Following her stellar National Anthem performance at the Super Bowl this past Sunday, Demi was living it up back in los angeles at the SOHO House in West Hollywood. At around 2AM, Demi left the members only club, but not alone….
Photographers snapped images of her leaving with Machine Gun Kelly. Reportedly, they did not get into the same car, but Kelly’s Aston Martin followed Demi’s SUV straight back to her condo.
Now…. we don’t want to jump to any conclusions here, but honestly, we’d be stoked on if Demi and Machine Gun Kelly could be sparking a romance. However…TMZ just crushed those ideas because they’re reporting that the two are JUST FRIENDS despite this late night rendezvous! Sources close to the situation tell TMZ … there’s nothing romantic going on between Demi and MGK, and they were at Soho House to hang out with a mutual friend.
These pictures of MGK with Miley’s little sis, Noah Cyrus, hit all the gossip columns. The pair was pretty darn close at a Grammys after party last month.
They even arrived at the West Hollywood club together… and were reportedly holding hands all night long.
However, neither artist confirmed, or denied, they were officially “together.” But to be fair, just because MGK is spotted with beautiful women at Hollywood clubs, doesn’t necessarily mean he’s dating them.
Take this OTHER incident where MGK was spotted with actress Kate Beckinsale. The pair left a Golden Globes after party together in the same car.
Sidebar… this flirtatious exchange made major headlines because MGK is BFF’s with Pete Davidson, who had a very public, PDA filled relationship last Spring.
But Kate denied she and Machine Gun Kelly were anything but friends. After fans trolled her on this instagram post — not for giving her pet cat wine, btw. They were upset over her hanging with Kelly — she responded to the hate.
“Why don’t you worry about things that are actually happening and donate to the Australian wild fires rather than waste your time on things that are not happening and never were and also please get a f–king life.”
Ok wow! So yeah… nothing going on between Kate and MGK, despite having been spotted together at a club. So what does this mean for the rapper and Demi Lovato’s recent rendezvous?
Honestly, it’s too early to tell! But if our girl is ready to find love again, we’re all for it!
Demi confirmed her relationship with model Austin Wilson back in November with a series of hot couple photos on instagram. But by December, the love had fizzled. She went back and deleted all memory of Austin off her social media accounts.
A source told People there was no time for a relationship in Demi’s life: “She’s concentrating on herself and her work right now, as well as focusing on her relationship with God. She’s excited for what this next chapter in 2020 will bring.”
And hey, so far so good for 2020! She kicked off the year with an emotional performance at the Grammy Awards, her first time being back on stage since her reported drug overdose in 2018.
Demi even overcame a hiccup in the performance, recovered, and brought the house to tears!
Then, of course, she knocked the socks off the National Anthem this past Sunday at the Super Bowl with an unbelievably good rendition!
So much for easing back into things, right? Remember when she said this at her first public appearance after taking time off for several months. She told fans at the Teen Vogue Summit back in November that she was taking her time with her music career:
So yeah…. Maybe the grammys and the superbowl isn’t exactly “easing” but hey, we’re not complaining. It feels GOOD to see her back on stage!
Plus, this has to mean new Demi music is on it’s way VERY soon! Now that’s something to get excited about!
