Touring can be stressful…especially when you’ve been on the road nonstop for 6 months all the while still dropping music and meeting fans along the way
What’s up guys it’s Drew Dorsey here with Clevver News and that’s exactly what Ariana Grande has been going through on her Sweetener World Tour, and it looks like it’s taking a toll on her mental health!
Just a few days after cancelling her meet and greet in Antwerp, Belgium Ari has announced that she will be cancelling her sound check meet and greet parties for the rest of the tour
The tour is set to run throughout Europe until October 13 before taking a short break and then going back to the US for the rest of the year.
Ari released a statement in an email to fans where she says that her anxiety and depression has been at an all time high
Another email from Livenation stated that people who purchased the sound check meet and greet pass will be getting a partial reimbursement for the cost of the meet and greet, and will also be allowed to enter the venue early
“This decision doesn’t come easily and the last thing she would ever want to do is disappoint fans, but something has to give to allow her to continue giving 100% to her performances”
Ari also hasn’t been present on social media recently
Especially on Twitter, which she hasn’t been particularly active on since august 30, when she said “I’ll give you all I have and nothing less I promise”
Ari also recently headlined Manchester Pride, where she admitted that she felt overwhelmed about returning to the city after the terrorist attack that occurred during her Dangerous Woman tour in 2017!
