Ariana Grande just opened up about the hardest years of her life including the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller and her breakup with ex-fiancé Pete Davidson. And we’ve got all the info you need to know.

What’s up guys? It’s Drew Dorsey here with Clevver News and our girl Ariana Grande is on the cover of Vogue for its August edition.

Oh and she dropped a new music video for “in my head” as a part of it. I mean, I’m not mad we just got a new Ariana music video out of nowhere and it’s just her in a white room and it’s amazing.

Anyway, her cover interview was wide-ranging and emotional to say the very least.

The author of the article mentioned that Ariana cried through much of their interview, and she was self-aware that these sorts of conversations are challenging for her.

She told Vogue quote, “I’m a person who’s been through a lot and doesn’t know what to say about any of it to myself, let alone the world. I see myself onstage as this perfectly polished, great-at-my-job entertainer, and then in situations like this I’m just this little basket-case puddle of figuring it out.”

Which is completely understandable as she has been through a LOT over the past couple years.

Ariana spoke about the aftermath of the tragedy at her Manchester concert and how she turned tragedy into advocacy.

And she also spent a lot of time talking about Mac Miller.

She cried when recalling how performing at Coachella this year made her think of Mac because the first time she went to the festival was to see him perform.

Ari said quote, “By no means was what we had perfect, but, like, fuck. He was the best person ever, and he didn’t deserve the demons he had. I was the glue for such a long time, and I found myself becoming . . . less and less sticky. The pieces just started to float away.”

Okay, my heart really does break for her, I can’t even imagine what she went through and still goes through processing everything that happened.

But the most interesting part of this interview to me, was how candid she was about her relationship with Pete Davidson!

I mean we all kinda knew it was weird when they were engaged after only a few weeks of dating.

She said quote, “I met Pete, and it was an amazing distraction. It was frivolous and fun and insane and highly unrealistic, and I loved him, and I didn’t know him.”

DANG… those words are definitely going to sting! I mean a “distraction” and “Highly Unrealistic”… OOO Ari!

But I mean yeah duh, I think my Brita filters last longer than their relationship did, speaking of which… I need to change that today!

Anyway, fans are loving how honest and vulnerable Ari was in this interview.

One person wrote quote, “ur so brave for this interview. i love u”

And another said quote, “this article..wow u’re so strong and beautiful and special and amazing and i love u”

I couldn’t agree more.

But I want to hear from you guys.

What do you think of Ariana’s Vogue interview? Are you surprised about how candid she was regarding her broken engagement to Pete Davidson?
