Ariana wants justice for Mac Miller and she is doing everything in her power to make sure the dealer who gave Mac his drugs does time!

Hey everyone it’s Sussan Mourad with Clevver News and while our hearts are still broken over losing Mac Miller, justice may finally be served over his death.

Saturday marked the 1 year since Mac Miller’s passing.

Last week alleged drug dealer Cameron James Pettit was charged for supplying Mac with deadly fentanyl-laced oxycodone. The pills are rumored to have contributed to the rapper’s death and one of the saddest days in music history.

Rest in Peace Mac.

TMZ broke the story of Mac’s OD on September 7 2018. He was found unresponsive in his San Fernando valley home. He was only 26.

Since then, everyone from fans to family have grieved for Mac, and to be honest we don’t know IF the grief will ever end. But luckily, we may at least get some sort of closure as feds are closing in on those who had a HUGE hand in Mac’s death.

Cameron is rumored to be only ONE of THREE who supplied Mac with the deadly drugs. A possible madam and prostitute close to both Miller and Pettit are reportedly of interest in the case.

Another person who is happy to see these recent charges is none other than our girl Ariana Grande.

Ari famously dated Mac and they were honestly real life soulmates. But as we know from literally every classic love story, soulmate stories don’t always end well.

When Mac died last year, Ari was understandably heartbroken and has since paid tribute to Mac on more than one occasion.

Ariana paid tribute to Mac after his death by posting this never before seen video of Mac and wrote: “I adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will. i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. i really can’t wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times. i’m so mad, i’m so sad i don’t know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else. i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away.”

According to sources, Ari felt some closure with the recent arrest news, but wants ANYONE who supplied Mac with drugs to be charged. She believes anyone who did so had a hand in his death.

TMZ also reports that Ariana believes Pettit took advantage of someone suffering from addiction and should face harsh consequences for his role in Mac’s death!

We’ve also got Ari’s back on this one.

This whole saga is far from over. We know that, and reportedly so does Ariana.

Pettit is currently being held without bond and will be arraigned on October 11. No word on charges for the potential other two suppliers, but at least this is a step in the right direction.

Mac Miller had so much more to accomplish, but his legacy continues to live on.

We just hope after all of this, we can get justice for Mac and closure on one of the greatest talents of all time.

We miss you Mac.

Many celebrities remembered Mac over the weekend and paid tribute on social media!

Tana Mongeau posted this on her Instagram writing, “i’ll always hate that we’ll just dedicate this day to missing you publicly and then it’ll just feel like the whole world keeps… moving. there isn’t a second, minute, hour, or day that goes by that i wouldn’t give everything i have just to see you or hear your voice for another minute…. a year ago was the worst day of my life. i’ll spend every day trying to put back the pieces of my heart but i don’t think they’ll ever fit right again.”

Kehlani wrote: “I miss you bro. It won’t ever make sense but just know everybody loves you.”

Post Malone commemorated Mac by getting a shirt that reads “RIP Mac Miller”

And Machine Gun Kelly wrote: “If you haven’t: go listen to his “Swimming” album … it’s a masterpiece. Then Best Day Ever mixtape. Then KIDS mixtape.”

What do you think of this Mac Miller news? Do you feel the same way as Ariana? And do you think we will actually get justice for Mac or will this be another unsolved drug case? Let’s mourn and discuss all this news in the comments below.
