Ariana Grande is donating the proceeds from her concert in Atlanta to Planned Parenthood. And it’s no small amount, the donation is seriously generous!
What’s up guys? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and Ariana Grande is using her influence to give back, in a major way, to a cause she cares about.
She has been known to be generous with her time and money, and she just keeps on giving. That’s just one of many reasons why we stan Ari.
According to People Magazine, Ari donated all of the proceeds from her Atlanta show from the Sweetener World Tour and donated it to Planned Parenthood! Which you guys… that donation amount came out to about $250,000.
Which, I can’t help but note, it’s wild she brings in $250,000 a night on tour. She’s making about 83 stops on the Sweetener World tour so that comes out to about…
LOADS of money!
Anyway, back to the story. It’s awesome to see that Ariana is donating some of this money to a cause that’s important to her.
Planned Parenthood told People quote, “Ariana Grande’s generous donation comes at a critical time — in Georgia and across the country.”
And many fans agree, they are loving Ari even more for this timely donation.
One person wrote quote, “@ArianaGrande donated her proceeds from her concert in ATL to @PPFA…this is huge.”
And another said quote, “THANK U @ArianaGrande 4 standing up against anti-women’s health politicians trying to ban all safe, legal abortions. ??❤.”
A female doctor even tweeted quote, “I’m so grateful to @ArianaGrande for her longstanding commitment to supporting women’s rights and standing with Planned Parenthood to defend access to reproductive healthcare.”
And while many fans online are praising Ariana for the donation…
There are also others who aren’t in favor of the donation to Planned Parenthood, even going as far as creating the hashtag #BoycottArianaGrande.
Either way though, Ari is standing up for what she believes in and giving back to a cause she cares about. And if we know anything… Ariana is FIERCELY loyal to things she loves!
Now Ariana hasn’t said anything publicly about the donation yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she just kept quiet about the donation. Sometimes actions speak louder than words.
