Ariana is back at it with the hits. Does this girl ever take time to rest?!?
Hey everyone, it’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and Ariana Grande has dropped her newest track and music video for her song “Boyfriend” which also features the duo from Social House.
In the strangely amazing video, Ariana and Michael “Mikey” Foster play jealous lovers.
The two repeatedly try to make the other jealous in the video, while pretending to play it cool.
Girl, trust me, we’ve all been there.
After Ariana feels her man is getting too close for comfort with another girl, that’s where the fun of the video starts.
She jumps on the girl and throws her to the ground.
Is it just me or did anyone else get Cady coming for Mean Girl Regina George vibes here?
And let’s just say, the next girl that talks to Foster, however, isn’t so lucky. She gets an arrow right through the hand.
Ouchhh.
All of this is happening as Ariana sings,
“You ain’t my boyfriend (boyfriend)/ And I ain’t your girlfriend (girlfriend)/ But you don’t want me to see nobody else/ And I don’t want you to see nobody.”
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how RELATABLE Ari is?!
Then when it’s Ariana’s turn to make Foster jealous, he straight up rips the guys heart out and presents to her as a gift. Ariana then shoots hearts out of her chest in response.
Aw, a real life love story.
The two end the video destroying a bathroom in a passion fueled makeout session.
And man, I don’t know about you, but I didn’t see this make-out sesh coming but I AM SOOOO HERE FOR IT! YASSSS ARI!
The other half of Social House, Charles “Scootie” Anderson, who plays a friend of theirs in the video, walks in on them and just shrugs as he walks away.
Same dude, same.
The video is apart of Ariana’s album, “Thank You, Next.” She is currently on the “Sweetener” world tour and clearly our girl is thriving.
Twitter is going absolutely bizzerk over the song and music video!
One person wrote: Yo, boyfriend was relatable AF, lmfao
While another person tweeted: Ariana Grande and Social House’s video summed up in 9 seconds
And a final tweet that puts this music video perfectly: “Iconic #arianagrande #boyfriend.”
