A shooting outside the Montgomery County Courthouse has led to serious felony charges for Dalton Eatherly, known online as “Chud the Builder.”
The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon following a scheduled court hearing. According to officials and online footage, a physical confrontation escalated when Eatherly allegedly opened fire. Reports indicate he discharged multiple rounds, striking another individual and inadvertently wounding himself in the arm.
Eatherly is currently being held without bond at the Montgomery County Jail on charges including attempted murder and aggravated assault. The victim remains in stable condition after being flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
