Jason Benson Dingler, 43, allegedly carried out a series of petty crimes across the 16-hour spree before officers shot the fugitive on the side of a highway near Modesto, surveillance and bodycam footage released by the Stanislaus County Sheriff Monday shows. Dingler kicked off the wild spree at a home in the central Californian city just after midnight Sept. 22., police said. After loitering on the front porch for nearly an hour, a shirtless and filthy Dingler can be seen breaking down the door and breaking into the house as the homeow...

Juliana Saggaram, 33, of East Elmhurst, Queens, was arrested Wednesday after she used her position as a DoorDash driver to approach two homes and swipe packages. The alleged thief had stopped at a nearby Chipotle for a DoorDash order to use as cover, police said. Saggaram was captured on a doorbell camera as she walked down the street with the DoorDash order in hand before approaching the home. Read more at https://nypost.com/2023/1...

Cops defend trooper not chasing Charlotte Sena suspect during ransom note drop-off

News- US

http://youtu.be/Ovcu7YlQZV4 New York authorities defended the state trooper who failed to immediately follow the man who was later arrested as a suspect in the kidnapping of Charlotte Sena when he dropped a ransom note off — saying the girl’s frantic family was receiving a steady stream of well wishes. New York State Police spokesperson Deanna Cohen insisted to the New York Times that it did not seem unusual that Craig N. Ross Jr., 46, would drop off a note around 4:20 a.m. Monday at the Sena family’s home in Corinth because visitors had come “throughout the night.” “Like many other instances where families are experiencing something traumatic, we anticipated there would be a flow of constant traffic in front of the house throughout the night to show support for the family,” NYSP public...

The clip then cuts to three of the group — including one in a white T-shirt carrying a backpack — rushing back in the opposite direction. News- US

http://youtu.be/Q8T2vnI2Y60 Welcome to the wild world of pilots’ and air crews’ parties that turn layovers into Tinder-fueled bacchanals. NY Post Senior Writer Joshua Rhett Miller shares this story. The spotlight was cast on the untamed scene by the revelation that married British Airways pilot snorted cocaine off a topless woman’s breasts hours before a London-bound flight then turned up to fly the plane. “I’ve been a very naughty boy,” he texted a colleague. And while he might be an outlier, say cabin crew, there’s no doubt that he’s not alone. “I’ve seen a pilot puking at dinner on a layover from drinking so much,” one flight attendant for Alaska Airlines said. “He must have had some in his hotel room, so he was on another level when he got to dinner. Biden says he ‘can’t stop’ border wall construction, blames Congress for not ‘reappropriating’ funds

News- US

http://youtu.be/STkrM9EVrik President Biden said Thursday that he “can’t stop” construction of new sections of the US-Mexico border wall because Congress wouldn’t rescind spending on it — as he waived 26 federal laws to restart former President Donald Trump’s pet project amid record-breaking illegal immigration. “The money was appropriated for the border wall. I tried to get them to reappropriate, to redirect that money. They didn’t. They wouldn’t,” Biden told reporters in the Oval Office. “In the meantime, there’s nothing under the law other than they have to use the money for what it was appropriated for. I can’t stop that,” he insisted. Asked if he thought the border wall was effective, the president replied, “No.” The administration said Wednesday it was waiving 26 federal laws — ...

Zelensky denounced the attack on the store and cafe in the village of Hroza as a “demonstrably brutal Russian crime” and “a completely deliberate act of terrorism.” He urged Western allies to help strengthen Ukraine’s air defenses, saying that “Russian terror must be stopped.” “Russia needs this and similar terrorist attacks for only one thing: to make its genocidal aggression the new norm for the whole world,” he said. “No...

Ramaswamy claims RNC will try to ‘silence’ him after Fox segment flap

News- US

http://youtu.be/rl6NMmg_6Sc Vivek Ramaswamy warned Thursday that the Republican National Committee will keep trying to “silence” him before next month’s third GOP primary debate, hinting at growing friction between himself and the party he hopes to represent in next year’s presidential election. Earlier this week, the RNC jumped in at the last minute to stop the 38-year-old biotech entrepreneur from appearing alongside rival Chris Christie on Fox News’ “Special Report.” An RNC official ripped into both candidates for complaining at the time, since they signed a pledge to not participate in outside debates and would be banned upon actually engaging. In his latest attack, Ramaswamy threw a punch at both the RNC and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, predicting that the situation between him and t...

It’s unclear why police were called, but the altercation broke out in a checkout line — and the woman appeared to have an array of fresh produce on the belt, a video posted to Reddit showed. Migrants jump for joy as they rush into Texas, after crawling under razor wire: video

News- US

In drone footage captured by The Post, a young child can be seen jumping and cheering alongside two other small children as a group of about seven adults slither beneath the sharp wire that stretches just beyond the bank of the international divide. The group of migrants continued celebrating as they darted across the desert sand toward the border wall, which did little to prevent their entry into the US. Once a migrant crosses the river, they are on US soil and automatically entitled to being taken in and processed by the US Border Patrol. Syria holds funeral for military academy attack victims

News- US

http://youtu.be/bk3Oz6z_QRY Syria on Friday held funerals for scores of people killed in a drone attack on a graduation ceremony at a military academy in the Homs region the previous day, one of the bloodiest strikes against the military in more than 12 years of civil war. Several weaponised drones hit the Homs Military Academy's courtyard where families were gathered with the new officers on Thursday, minutes after defense minister Ali Mahmoud Abbas had left. Syria declared three days of mourning. There have been no claims of responsibility for the attack. Syria's defense and foreign ministries blamed what they described as terrorist groups, without specifying further, and vowed to respond "with full force." On Friday morning, coffins carrying victims and draped in the Syrian flag wer...

Lawyer claims US tourist accused of smashing two statues was suffering from ‘Jerusalem syndrome’

News- US

http://youtu.be/GE2cyqRFnK0 An American tourist allegedly went on a bizarre rampage at an Israeli museum, smashing two ancient Roman statues because he claimed they represented “idolatry” that was “contrary to the Torah,” authorities said. A lawyer for the unnamed suspect — who was arrested after the incident — claimed he was suffering from a delusion known as “Jerusalem syndrome” when he allegedly went wild with a stick during the Thursday evening incident, according to reports. At least two statues — including one that the Times of Israel tentatively identified as a head of Athena dating to the 2nd century CE and a statue of a griffin holding a wheel of fate decorated with the Roman god Nemesis from about 210-211 CE — were left broken into multiple pieces on an exhibition hall floor, ...

Biden confuses debt with deficit, blames press for grim news and claims a budget ‘surplus’ in rant

News- US

http://youtu.be/O1BnLGi2oDY President Biden criticized the media Friday over the public’s economic concerns and again mixed up the terms “debt” and “deficit” — while also claiming he’s presiding over a federal budget surplus despite actually overseeing the highest non-pandemic annual deficit in US history. “You all are not the happiest people in the world,” Biden scolded a group of reporters at the White House. “You turn on the television and there’s not a whole lot about ‘Boy saves dog as he swims in the lake,'” he added. “It’s about ‘Somebody pushed the dog in the lake.’ I mean, I get it.” After that curious metaphor, Biden went on: “I think that the American people are smart as hell and know what their interests are. I think they know they are better off financially than they were b...
