This was the sweet moment a seal pup was reunited with his mum after getting rescued and rehabilitated in South Africa.
The clip, filmed off Mossel Bay in September 2018, shows a wildlife volunteer helping the seal back into the water to be with his family again.
Wildlife enthusiast Ewan Wilson explained to Newsflare: “It’s believed that the animal was washed off its island home and floated to the beach. It was a miracle that the seal did not drown as he was very weak. The team raised him back to health and he was reunited with his colony.”
