Ron Peck lost his father during the coronavirus restrictions, and wasn’t able to see him during his last months.
Now he says that he’s lost sleep over claims Downing Street held a Christmas party during those same restrictions and it was as if the government was laughing at people like him who had lost loved ones during the pandemic.
Mr Peck – whose father, also called Ron, died earlier this year – said the government had not done the decent thing and now the electorate wanted more than just an apology.
