The number of deaths of people who had a positive test results for COVID-19 in the UK is increasing – with the UK case rate going up by 70% in the last two weeks of 2020.
And the Chief Medical Officer for England Professor Chris Whitty said that now one in 50 people how have coronavirus – and that figure was higher in some areas of the country.
