Sky News can reveal that ministers have agreed to bow to pressure from Australia to drop binding climate change commitments from the UK-Australian trade deal.
A leaked email reveals Trade Secretary Liz Truss and Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng decided the government could drop two of the climate asks from the text of the agreement.
