Police 'acted appropriately' at Sarah Everard vigil

A review has concluded the Metropolitan Police ‘acted appropriately’ at the Sarah Everard vigil in Clapham.

Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS) found the force “was justified” to break up the gathering due to the risk of coronavirus being transmitted at the event.
