Shadow Environment Secretary Luke Pollard MP says the Brexit deal is ‘botched’, and if the row isn’t resolved it will begin to impact fishing jobs and exports.
His response follows the seizure of a British fishing trawler by French authorities claiming they didn’t have the proper license to fish in the Channel.
Licenses and agreements have become an ongoing sore point between Britain and France following Brexit.
