Britney Spears speaks out about conservatorship in LA court

Britney Spears has spoken in court for the first time about her controversial conservatorship, which has been in place since 2008.

During her testimony, the US star claimed she has been “exploited” by others, adding: “It is my wish and dream for all of this to end. I want my life back.”

The order was originally granted after the singer was admitted to hospital amid concerns over her mental health.

Sky’s Greg Milam reports from Los Angeles.
