Budget 2021: Is it the road map to recovery?

Shadow work and pensions secretary Jonathan Reynolds says the budget says ‘almost nothing about NHS.’ He criticies the plan’s long term effect with furlough schemes ending in September and not providing pay rises for key workers.

Both the Labour and Tory party agree that more spending is the way to dig the country out of recession but that huge sectors of people have been ignored in the Chancellor’s Budget.
