Before his tragic death at only 20 years old, in his final ‘Descendants’ interview, Cameron Boyce spoke out about the importance of accepting others.
What’s up guys? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and Disney just released footage of Cameron’s final interview for Descendants 3 and it’s both heartwarming and heartbreaking all at the same time.
We are all still mourning the loss of Cameron after he died suddenly on July 6 after suffering a seizure in his sleep due to epilepsy.
In the ‘Descendants’ movies Cameron plays Cruella de Vil’s son Carlos, and during his last interview about the trilogy he spoke about what he’d learned from them.
“Once you take the label off … you see the best come out of someone”
He continued on to say quote, “There are a lot of people who are initially placed as bad. ‘That person’s bad, that person’s this and that.’ But it’s the old adage: ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover.’ Let someone really be who they are. And it’s a cool thing that we tell.”
And we are so glad Cameron is a part of ‘Descendants 3’ which premieres on the Disney Channel on August 2nd.
I will definitely be watching and hopefully people can continue to learn and grow from the message Cameron hoped to spread through the movie.
Of course, fans are still tweeting about Cameron and are grateful for the message he spread in his final interview.
One person wrote quote, “Yeah true, I’ve seen lots of love since the first tough day. It’s wonderful, he is really overwhelmed by love. Hope he can watch over us somehow.”
And another said quote, “Such a beautiful boy. #CameronBoyce #RIPCameronBoyce”
We will continue to remember Cameron and we look forward to watching his final performance in Descendants 3.
Thank you so much for watching, I’m Sussan Mourad and I’ll see you next time.
