Camila Cabello has been getting a lotta flack for her excessive public makeout seshes with Shawn Mendes’, and she just responded to a fan’s disapproval of the act in question with the best response ever.
What’s up guys, it’s Emile Ennis Jr. back here on Clevver News, and in case you didn’t know by the excessive courtside, restaurant, sidewalk, and basically everyday PDA displayed by Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes, the two are grossly in love… shocking, I know.
So if you’ve ever felt personally victimized by Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes making out in public, she apparently has too, and when asked about it, her response was everything we were hoping it would be.
Camila recently sat down with BBC Radio 1’s Greg James where she reacted to some pretty hilarious unpopular opinions from listeners who were calling in to chat with the singer.
One fan, by the name of Cat, mentioned that she was rather displeased with the constant PDA expressed by Camila and her man-friend Shawn Mendes, saying, “Public displays of affection on Instagram are too much.
The fan went onto explain that she doesn’t like when couples get too mushy on social media, and is it just me, or did you also feel that direct attack toward Camila?
The queen of PDA heard her loyal listener out, and quickly joked back by saying, “Ouch, I feel personally targeted. I feel personally attacked. Yeah, PDA is terrible. I mean, kissing in public? I don’t even…”
If I really had to count the amount of times fans and media outlets caught Camila and Shawn making out, I’d be here all day, and I’ve got some Thanksgiving cooking to do later, so I’m not going to do that…
BUT their latest rendezvous went down during an LA Clippers game, where they sat courtside, and were zero percent interested in the actual game, and 100% interested in each others’ throats.
If you also want to count their steamy 2019 AMA performance, we’ll throw that in there for good measures.
But all jokes aside, Camila was actually able to hear the fan out, and noted that the paparazzi had a lot to do with capturing the PDA moments they do have, making it seem like it’s a regular daily activity.

Makes sense when you really think about it, but hey, at least Camila handled the critique like a pro…
The fan also didn’t hold back in criticizing “those posts where they’re just like, OMG I love you so much babe, you’re my everything,’” which Camila is also prettttttyyy familiar with.
But speaking of gushing over each other via social media, Camila posted a sweet tribute to Shawn following last weekend’s AMA’s, so basically, you know it’s the real deal and probably not just some publicity stunt… maybe… hopefully…
The couple recently took home the 2019 AMA for Collaboration of the Year, and Camila gave her man the sweetest shoutout via social media.
She posted a photo of the two walking to stage together, writing, “i love u @shawnmendes thank u for being so there for me yesterday and every other day, u have the most caring and beautiful heart in the world ! thanks to all our fans for voting , we love and appreciate you guys so much and are so thankful for you.”
The two began dating back in July, and have been going strong ever since…
Pretty much, they’re like the modern day Sonny and Cher or Johnny and June if you really wanna put a label on it.
Thankfully Camila took the criticism in stride, and didn’t really seem to take offense by it.
That said, there will probably be many more very public displays of affection to come, especially if these two keep on winning awards, which is fine by me because there’s no question “Senorita” is a HIT.
