Campaigners are calling for an end to e-scooter trials over safety fears, saying the vehicles have made towns and cities “no go zones” for many blind and visually impaired people.
It’s claimed that anxiety in some areas is higher due to e-scooters and a number of people have been injured by people using the vehicles, which can travel at up to 15mph.
