The rap world and political spheres collided this week following a Politico report alleging that 18,784 bots (roughly 33% of engagement) have been artificially amplifying Nicki Minaj’s recent conservative political posts.
The controversy took a personal turn when Trump advisor Alex Bruesewitz dismissed the report as a “coordinated hit piece,” pointing out that the data firm behind it, Cyabra, counts Cardi B’s agent, Mike G, as an advisor and investor.
Cardi B immediately fired back in a viral exchange, labeling Bruesewitz a “wet dirty dog” and threatening a defamation lawsuit for linking her to the “Roc Nation conspiracy theories.”
