Cardi B dropped her new music video for “Press” and it is truly a wild ride from start to finish

What’s up y’all! It’s Emile Ennis Jr. with Clevver News and if Cardi had something to say about the strip club brawl, her endless court dates and her current legal bind, she certainly did it with this new music video.

You remember last week when we gave you the lowdown on these charges that Cardi might be facing in relation to her potentially ordering an attack on two sisters at the club that they work at?

Well, the music video for Press seems to be Cardi’s take on the whole thing.

The video, that is VERY Not safe for work by the way, shows Cardi in court, leaving a trail of blood as she goes through the court room and eventually behind bars giving her jailmate a swirly!

Is she foreshadowing something???

The release of this video came at a pretty perfect time, or possibly a horrible time depending on how the court system sees it. Cardi released it just one day after her arraignment hearing for two felonies and other misdemeanor charges. And if proven guilty, Cardi faces up to 4 years in prison! But according to PageSix Cardi told the judge quote, “Not guilty, sir, honor.”

So is it pure coincidence her hearing and the release of the ‘Press Music” video dropped around the same time? It definitely wasn’t an accident.

And I’ve gotta say, despite all the blood, faux nudity, and angry old white people, this is one of my favorite Cardi videos!

And I’m not the only one who thinks that. For once, the Youtube comments under the video are mostly positive.

One person said “Cardi is lowkey a legend…she’s changing the game”

Another person brought Nicki into it, saying “Nicki: They call me megatron. Cardi: hold my gun and my grammy”

Jeez, y’all ain’t have to go there! Whether Cardi wants it or not, she’s certainly going to get a lot of press for this scandalous music video.

Tell me what you think about it in the comments below. Do you think it was a good idea to drop a video like this in the midst of all her legal drama?
