The PM tweeted a letter he sent to French President Emmanuel Macron, causing a diplomatic rift between the allies who should be working together to prevent more migrants crossing the Channel.
The letter outlines what Boris Johnson thought the two countries should do to stop small boats crossing the channel.
The French Interior Minister said the Home Secretary, Priti Patel, would no longer be welcome at a meeting of European Ministers after the letter was tweeted.
