Claustrophobic Alert! Walking through an extremely narrow glacier crack.

This was the incredible moment a group of alpinists walked through the middle of the Matanuska Glacier in Alaska.

The clip, filmed on October 22, shows Benjamin Lieber and his team walking through the glacier located about 100 miles north-east of Anchorage. At 27 miles long by 4 miles wide, it is the largest glacier accessible by car in the US.

Lieber and his crew carefully trudge through the narrow passage that wouldn’t look out of place in Disney’s “Frozen” movies.

Benjamin explained: “We are full-time exploratory alpinists, our current project is called Alaska Wilderness Project. We are combining modern expedition alpinism, storytelling, and historical review of Alaskan mountain ranges into an exciting and engaging historical project.

“This video is from a day with Alex Hansen and Austin Schmitz, I was showing them the Matanuska Glacier. A beautiful and commonly visiting glacier in Alaska,” he continued.
