President Biden pledges to cut emissions by ‘well over a giga-tonne’, as he tells global leaders the US is ‘back at the table’.
The president told the conference that climate change is “destroying people’s lives and livelihoods every day” and costing nations “trillions of dollars”.
Plus Mr Biden explained that the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C ‘remains within our reach’ if we “come together and commit”.
