Coronavirus vaccine - how it would work

There could be a vaccine by Christmas. At least, that is the optimistic forecast from the deputy chief medical officer Professor Jonathan Van-Tam.
A study by pharmaceutical giant, Pfizer along with German biotech firm, Biontech shows their vaccine to be more than 90 per cent effective in preventing people from getting Covid-19.

The UK has already ordered 40 million doses and scientists are now weighing in on how effective they believe it will be.
