Transport Secretary Grant Schapps has admitted some police “might have gone too far” in their enforcement of the UK lockdown.

He told Kay Burley “The police are doing a difficult job and they are doing it well.

Britons breaking lockdown rules can be arrested or fined £60 to ensure people stay at home and avoid non-essential travel.
