The number of A&E visits has dropped by 41% in the UK, leading to fears that some people are risking their lives by staying away.
Health officials are worried many people are not seeking treatment because they’re worried about contracting Covid-19 or being a burden on the NHS.
But Sky News has been told by one A&E consultant that by staying home when they need help people risk becoming collateral damage to the virus.
