The number of people told to self-isolate by the NHS covid app has reached another record high.
The government continues to ask people to quarantine if they are alerted by the NHS app, but calls are growing from businesses to end self-isolation.
The alerts have been issued as NHS Test and Trace figures showed nearly 600,000 people were identified as coming into close contact with someone who had tested positive in the week up to 21 July.
