Residents in some provinces in China have seen more COVID controls resume after a reported infection imported from visitors.
Millions of people in Beijing are being tested for COVID-19 after the Chinese capital recorded three new cases.
Provinces around the country have also been ordered to prepare mass quarantine facilities.
