COVID-19: Government reserves the right to implement restrictions if needed

Health Secretary Sajid Javid says the government could implement mandatory face masks, vaccine passports and temporarily working from home – if needed.

Speaking to the House of Commons, Mr Javid outlined the government’s winter plan for keeping coronavirus at bay, but stressed there is a ‘Plan B’ if the pressure on the NHS becomes too great.
