A year on from the start of the first UK lockdown, Health Secretary Matt Hancock says there is hope of a way out of the COVID-19 crisis through science and vaccination.
Sombre ceremonies will mark the anniversary and remember nearly 150,000 people who have so far died after being exposed to the virus.
