COVID-19: Hunger, cold and poverty in lockdown

In one of England’s most deprived towns, people are queuing for food as the winter lockdown bites.

As well as poverty, people in Blackpool and across the UK are struggling more with mental health issues as job losses, business closures and not being able to see family and friends take their toll.

Anyone feeling emotionally distressed or struggling to cope can call Samaritans for help on 116 123 or email jo@samaritans.org in the UK.
