Travellers arriving back in the UK from high-risk countries face having to quarantine in a hotel, under plans being discussed by the government.

The World Health Organization’s special envoy for COVID-19, Dr David Nabarro, says the move makes sense as he thinks isolation works best when it is ‘under supervision’.
