Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab has told Sophy Ridge COVID-19 restrictions will not be ‘arbitrarily’ lifted.
The lockdown-sceptic Covid Recovery Group, which is made up of backbench Tory MPs, is calling for all restrictions to be lifted once the nine priority groups have been vaccinated.
Boris Johnson said on Saturday he plans a “cautious” reopening and today Mr Raab said the government would only lift the restrictions once the evidence suggested it was safe enough.
